管理:通过他人达成目标

管理真正成为学问也就是最近几十年的事情,而它却迅速成为最热门的词汇。

这是管理的一个定义,觉得有道理。

管理:通过他人达成目标。

从这个定义上来说,国外的所谓People Manager还是有一定道理的。管技术的人不管人,管人的人不管技术。而在国内,通常都是业务上水平高的人进入到管理层,技术和人一起管。这对个人来说,是好事情,因为可以成长,在各个领域都有领悟和提高。当然,这里是假设一个人能够同时在技术和管理层面上都有潜质。

实际上,当做技术久了后,思维是非常多的关注与逻辑与细节。突然之间让他带领一个团队,做很多人工作,甚至是形而上的思考,往往会一下子转不过来,非常逻辑的管理模式又有可能在初期起到抵触的效果。

而反过来,善于沟通的人,让他去监督技术的发展方向,做一些细节的技术准备,有往往不能静下心来,钻研进去。心态反而会变得有点浮躁。

你不觉得么?

人的生命里面是要有一些东西去追求,一些东西去回答的。

你也可以说,算了吧,做人生存,还是脚踏实地,老老实实的过日子。说什么形而上呢。但我想,当你行走在拥挤的地铁,当你抱着孩子在医院等待候诊,当你踩着夜色,从一个高谈阔论的饭局后匆匆回家,你心里一定隐隐有些感觉,觉得一定有比柴米油盐,比每个月的月供,比上班下班,比升值加薪更高的一些东西存在,更高级的一些问题需要回答。

形而上并不能够让你的老板对你好点,让你的孩子上好点的学校或者回家换来妻子温馨的笑容(苏格拉底的老婆就是实例)。但它思考的问题,它讲述的东西对你的心灵是一个慰藉。那是纯粹心灵上的思考,行走,耕耘,博弈。让你知道作为一个”人”,你是不同的,你是高贵的。

禅说:得道前,每天穿衣吃饭做功课;得道后,每天穿衣吃饭做功课。虽然每天做的事情是一样的,但得道前后对生活的理解完全不一样了,对做同样的事情的领悟完全不同了。 它给你心灵以慰藉,虽然事情还是事情,世界还是世界,可你的内心会因为哲学的抚慰变得平和,走向快乐。

As our industry has evolved because of this web-catalyzed services transformation, so too has Microsoft. More than two years ago when I wrote the memo entitled

The Internet Services Disruption, much of the company was still focused on bringing our Office 2007 and

Vista
products to market. Aside from MSN, IE/IIS and our tools groups, it was truly software, not “services, that was top of mind.

Since then, weve made tremendous progress in our expansion toward software+services -from the long-term quests weve undertaken and customer scenarios we now envision, to the great services and service-enhanced software weve begun to bring to market, and the amazing projects at various stages within our development pipeline. In light of all the work that were doing, its important that we build a shared sense of what Microsofts path looks like in this transition toward software+services. For consumers, advertisers and publishers, our investments in new forms of content, community, commerce, search and advertising are key. Were investing significantly to ensure tremendous audience engagement, and to provide an attractive and well-targetable audience, ensuring that we continue to be an attractive partner for advertisers and publishers within a vibrant and competitive advertising ecosystem.

For customers and partners who use and whove invested in Microsofts myriad offerings, we feel theres tremendous growth potential in moving toward a world that fully embraces software, services and the web. The device mesh, the social mesh, cloud-based infrastructure, and server/service symmetry represent great opportunities across all markets we serve.

可怕的螃蟹

HuZiWei说的还是有道理的,当一个国家不能输出它的价值观的时候,是不能被称之为大国的。但HuZiWei 还忽略了一个,当一个国家没有创造力的时候,是不能够被称之为大国的。 

这就是和谐的可怕之处。和谐意味着接受,平常,平静,没有特立独行,一切按照规定。而再也没有比”规定”更能够扼杀创造力了。独立思考没有了,创造力就没有了。而这个意义是深远的。 在和谐中,没有人敢打破常规(至少不被鼓励)。永远是尾随其后。”世界领先水平”的意思是, 在人家规定的游戏规则内,我们做的和人家差不多了。

也许以后我们真的都成了和谐的人,是手里拿着诺基亚手机,吃着KFC, 喝着可口可乐。玩PSP和WII。穿NIKE,开丰田,用微软Google和Intel的中国顺民。
